   Dear Students,

 It is a matter of great pride that the foundation stone of the Khalsa College of Law was laid by the then   Hon’ble Chief Justice of India (Mr.) Justice Altamas Kabir in the benign presence of legal luminaries like Hon’ble Justice D.K. Jain, learned Judge of Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble Justice A.K. Sikri,   the then Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court, Hon’ble Justice Jasbir Singh and Hon’ble   Justice S.S. Saron of the Punjab & Haryana High Court. Since its inception in 2012, the College has endeavoured to maintain a very high standard of legal education which is evident from the fact that our students are securing top University ranks in all the courses.

It deems a blessing of Almighty to serve Khalsa College of Law as its first regular Principal. It has been a rare honour and pride for me. My job has been immensely challenging and of a great responsibility to bring the College on the map of prestigious law colleges in India. I owe my gratitude to all the faculty members for their unconditional support, cooperation and for making education a warm experience for students.

The students from various States of our country like Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh, Kerala etc. are enrolled in our college and provide a sense of unity in diversity to our College. The College has been making sincere efforts to produce committed and efficient professionals. This success has been possible by the tiresome and dedicated efforts of the management, qualified and experienced teaching staff and the ever-valuable assistance of the administrative staff of our College.

As we embark into the tenth year of the establishment of the College, our commitment at the College is to provide a safe and intellectually challenging environment that will empower the students to become innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers and inspired learners to face the challenges of the highly competitive world in the present century. Various committees have been constituted in the College like Admission Committee, Disciplinary Committee, Scholarship Committee, Sports Committee, Cultural Committee, Women Grievances Committee, Sexual Harassment Committee and Anti-Ragging Committee to safeguard the interests of the students in every facet of their academic journey.

The College building stands amidst a lush green lawn exhibiting an exemplary amalgamation of modern & traditional architecture. The environment of the College is conducive for the students to acquire requisite skills as we encourage participation in various curricular and co-curricular activities such as Moot-Court competitions, Trial Advocacy, Debates, Workshops, Seminars and Class Room discussions. During the preceding years, our students have taken part in a variety of initiatives like plantation drives, blood donation camps, flood relief fundraising and Legal Literacy camps among others. In the year 2019, our students participated in various sports activities and bagged 1 Gold Medal in Chess, 1 Gold Medal in Badminton, 1 Silver Medal in Cricket, 1 Silver Medal in Chess, 1 Silver Medal in Basketball and 1 Bronze Medal in Football.

Co-Curricular and extra-curricular activities not only facilitate the process of creative and critical thinking but also inculcate social and moral values, compassion for nature, pride for Punjab Culture and tradition and above all they make students good human beings and confident leaders.

Our College is having a well-equipped Moot Court and a rich and up-to-date Library with the latest books, law journals, magazines, legal souvenirs, newspapers and a hi-tech Computer Lab which are highly beneficial for the students for their day-to-day study. At Khalsa College of Law, we are preparing our students with legal excellence and leadership qualities.

In present times, the whole world is fighting with pandemic COVID- 19. It has badly affected the education system this year. In changing times, the College has updated itself with the latest teaching pedagogy. Keeping pace with dynamic changes, Khalsa College of Law took the challenge and the syllabus was completed through online classes. The College has subscribed G-Suite for the smooth conduct of classes. Our management has its e-governance system at www.kclasr.org where the complete syllabus is also covered through e-lectures. More effective measures are being taken to face this challenge in the coming days regarding safety and teaching methodology.

With the proud education legacy of Khalsa College Charitable Society and the profound vision of our President S. Satyajit Singh Ji Majithia and Honorary Secretary S. Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina Ji, the College has become an Institution of all-round development.
